It's newly opened, so hours are still settling in. Worth a quick check before making the trip, but a real gem right up the road.

The Beaverdell General Store right in the village is perfect for basics, essentials, and anything you forgot, and you can pick up liquor here too. For a bigger shop, stock up in Rock Creek, or do a full run in Kelowna before heading out. The cabin kitchenette is well set up for simple meals.
Shanna's tip: A picnic from the Kelowna Farmers Market (Saturdays) plus a bottle of Okanagan wine plus the river view from your deck equals perfection.

Coffee, and a Local Secret
Beaverdell gas station + at the cabin
Here's a lovely surprise: the gas station in Beaverdell serves Cherry Creek Coffee, and it is genuinely excellent. Your cabin also has a French press, Keurig, and kettle for slow mornings on the deck. Between the two, you are very well caffeinated.
Pro tip: Don't skip the gas station coffee. It's one of those small-town secrets that makes this valley special.

A cozy roadside cafe on Highway 33 known for warm service and heavenly baked treats. A perfect stop for a coffee and something sweet when you're exploring south along the valley toward Rock Creek.
A true hole-in-the-wall gem. Hours can vary, so go when you spot it open.

Rags, Relics & Rutabagas

Part cafe, part antique and gift shop, all charm. Set in a lovely 1945 building in Rock Creek, they serve coffee, sandwiches, and two dozen flavours of hard ice cream, plus treasures to browse while you snack.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, roughly 10:30 to 4:30. A delightful stop on a drive south.

Okanagan Winery Dining

Several Okanagan wineries have exceptional restaurants with vineyard views. Quails' Gate Winery Restaurant, Summerhill Pyramid Winery, and Waterfront Wines in Kelowna are all outstanding for a special dinner or long winery lunch.
Book ahead, especially on weekends and during harvest (September to October). Waterfront Wines in Kelowna has no winery but is arguably the best wine restaurant in the Okanagan.

The resort village has multiple dining options from casual to sit-down. Snowshoe Sam's is the classic après-ski spot. Kettle Valley Steakhouse is great for a proper dinner. Several grab-and-go options in the village square for ski day lunches.
Budget alert: resort food prices are resort food prices. Eating at the cabin when possible is both more economical and more peaceful.
