Here’s the thing, it is best to not run from it instead sit in the uncomfortableness of it. As a society it has become normal to medicate though excessive exercise, drinking, online shopping or any binge-ful activities.
As someone who has walked this path, I want you to know that there is hope. Filling the emptiness in life is a journey of self-discovery and transformation. It requires patience, courage, and a willingness to explore the depths of your soul.

What is Emptiness?
First and foremost, Emptiness is not a weakness, it’s an invitation. An invitation to explore, to discover, and to reconnect with what truly sets your soul on fire🔥
Emptiness is a feeling of hollowness, a sense of disconnection from oneself and the world. It's a feeling of being unfulfilled, of not living up to one's potential. It could show up in all areas, especially if the things that used to bring you joy or light your soul up no longer have the same affect.
Emptiness can manifest in different ways, such as:
• Feeling disconnected from your passions and interests
• Lacking purpose and direction in life
• Feeling unfulfilled in your relationships or career
• Experiencing a sense of boredom or restlessness
The Reasons Behind Emptiness
So, why do we experience emptiness in life? There are many reasons, but here are some of the most common:
• Lack of purpose and direction
• Unfulfilling relationships or career
• Trauma or past experiences
• Negative self-talk and self-doubt
• Disconnection from one's passions and interests
Remember YOU are not empty - you are a vessel waiting to be filled with purpose, passion & meaning.
Filling the Emptiness: Practical Tips and Strategies
Now that we've explored the reasons behind emptiness, let's dive into some practical tips and strategies for filling the void and living a more fulfilling life.
1. Connect with Your Passions and Interests: What are the things that make your soul come alive? What are your passions and interests? Make time for these things, and prioritize them in your life. They can be a little as a walk around the block - Small victories are all victories.
2. Practice Mindfulness and Self-Reflection: Mindfulness and self-reflection are powerful tools for filling the emptiness in life. Take time to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Practice mindfulness meditation, and engage in activities that promote self-awareness. There are so many amazing teachers out there with free content to binge !
3. Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Relationships are a key part of filling the emptiness in life. Cultivate relationships that are meaningful and fulfilling. Surround yourself with people who support and uplift you. Something I found helpful is to notice how you feel after you have an energy exchange with a person or group. If you feel energized and hopeful after the meet, these are people who are good for you, if you feel drained or upset or worse .. likely they are akin to an energy vampire to you and it may be best to steer clear. It is SO important to protect your energy!
4. Find Purpose and Direction: Having a sense of purpose and direction is essential for filling the emptiness in life. Explore your values and passions, and find ways to align them with your goals and aspirations. Again, small victories here, I find getting quiet and relaxed to being with creating a passions list is a great starting point.
5. Practice Self-Care and Self-Love: Self-care and self-love are essential for filling the emptiness in life. Make time for activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul. Practice self-compassion, and treat yourself with kindness and respect. A bath, a walk, a hot tea .. the list goes on on here. No act is too small. Love yourself run the small ways so it can show up big.
